From Our Neighbourhood to the Nation — Celebrating Miss Sunita’s UPSC Success

A Moment of Pride

Some achievements are personal. And some achievements belong to an entire community. On 31st March 2026, Nav Chetana Sr. Sec. School, Badhra had the honour of celebrating one such achievement — the UPSC selection of Miss Sunita, a daughter of our neighbouring village, who cracked one of the toughest examinations in the country and made every single one of us immensely proud.

THE STORY BEHIND THE CELEBRATION

Miss Sunita’s journey is not just a story of clearing an exam — it is a story of determination, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in oneself. From a small village near Badhra, she took on India’s most prestigious and competitive selection process — the UPSC Civil Services Examination — and not only cleared it but successfully completed the entire selection process to earn her place in service to the nation.

When the school heard the news, there was only one thing on everyone’s mind — this moment deserved to be celebrated, and our students deserved to witness it firsthand.

THE CELEBRATION PROGRAM

Nav Chetana Sr. Sec. School organised a special felicitation and inspiration program on its campus with Miss Sunita as the Chief Guest of the evening. The program was attended by students, teachers, parents, and community members who gathered together to honour her incredible achievement.

The event included:

• A formal felicitation ceremony where Miss Sunita was welcomed and honoured by the school
• An inspirational address by Miss Sunita where she shared her journey, her struggles, and the lessons she learned along the way
• A special cultural program by students to celebrate the occasion
• A Q&A session where students got the rare opportunity to ask her questions directly

During her address, Miss Sunita spoke directly to the students with words that filled the auditorium with silence and inspiration. She reminded every child in that room that where you come from never determines where you can go — and that consistent hard work, the right guidance, and self belief can take anyone to the highest levels of success.

Her message was simple but powerful — dream big, work hard, and never give up.
